Power to Choose Electricity Provider Workshop

On Saturday, June 20, 2009, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Power to Choose Electricity Provider Workshop at Workforce Solutions-Southwest. The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) provided information on the LITE-UP Texas Program and were available to answer questions. Attendees included representatives from PUC, GEXA, StartTex Power, First Choice Power, Reliant Energy, Sheltering Arms Senior Services, TXU Energy, and United Way- Gatekeepers. State Senator Rodney Ellis and State Representative Kristi Thibaut hosted the event.
